Renting a sports car for the first time: what to know
The admin is smaller than people expect. We need a photo of your licence and IC or passport, a deposit, and a signed rental agreement — all of which can be done over WhatsApp before the car moves. Full licence held for at least two years, twenty-three as a minimum age for most of the fleet and twenty-five for the highest-powered cars. If you are close to those lines, ask us directly and we will give you a straight answer on the phone, not a surprise at handover.
For a first booking, the cars we actually recommend are the GR Supra, the 718 Cayman, the Golf GTI and the Civic Type R. Every one of them is quick enough to be an occasion and none of them will surprise you. The cars we gently steer first-timers away from are the Huracán, the Aventador and the GT3 — not because you cannot drive them, but because the combination of an unfamiliar car, a very low nose, KL kerbs and a car park ramp is where almost every incident in this business starts.
The genuinely useful advice: spend the first fifteen minutes driving badly on purpose. Find an empty car park, work out where the corners of the car are, reverse it a few times, feel the brakes properly once. Every scrape we have ever repaired happened in the first hour of a hire, at under 10 km/h, in a car park, to someone who had not yet worked out where the front of the car was. Nobody has ever damaged one of these cars by driving it enthusiastically on a good road.

What does first-time sports car rental cost in Kuala Lumpur?
The cars on this page start from RM 1,200 a day, and every one of them carries its own rate on its car page. Those rates are read live from our booking system, so they are current, not something we forgot to update. Message us your dates and you will get a full total back, delivery included.
Is delivery included?
Free anywhere in the Klang Valley on hires of two days or more. Single-day hires carry a delivery fee based on distance from our garage in SS15, Subang Jaya. Collecting from the garage yourself is always free.
What deposit will I need?
It depends on the car, not the booking. Most of the fleet is RM1,000, sports and performance cars RM1,500, and supercars RM2,500. Each car page states its own figure, and it is refunded in full once the car is back without damage or summonses.
How far ahead should I book?
Two to three weeks for a weekend, longer over December, Chinese New Year and school holidays. Weekdays are often available same-day. If your date is fixed, a deposit reserves the specific car.
