How weekly and monthly hire works

The weekly rate is not seven times the daily rate and the monthly rate is not thirty times it — both are substantially lower, which is why a five-day booking is often best rebuilt as a week. If you tell us the length up front we will price it the cheaper way round, not as seven separate days. Where an extension crosses a threshold mid-hire, we apply the better rate and do not count days up.

On a longer hire everything mechanical stays our problem. Servicing falls due while you have the car, we arrange it and work around your schedule. Road tax and insurance are ours throughout. If something needs attention we either collect and substitute or come to you, depending on what it is. You are hiring a car, not taking on a maintenance schedule.

The cars that make most sense over a month are not usually the ones people first ask about. A Huracán for thirty days is a lot of Huracán, and most people who try it find the novelty and the ground clearance both wear thin. The sports sedans — the A35, the A45 S, the 330i — and the performance SUVs are what long hires actually settle on: quick enough to enjoy, easy enough to live with daily.
