Lamborghini in Kuala Lumpur

The Huracán, the Huracán Spyder and the Aventador S are the top of the fleet, and nobody books them by accident. They are also the cars where our advice is most likely to sound like a warning: minimum age twenty-five, and we will ask what you have driven before. That is not gatekeeping. It is that a very low nose, an unfamiliar width and a KL car park ramp account for a large share of the incidents in this business, and almost none of them happen at speed.

Driven with a bit of thought, they are the most memorable thing we do. The V10 in the Huracán is one of the great engines and it wants revs, not a heavy right foot in first gear. The Spyder with the roof down after dark is the single best experience in the fleet. The Aventador S is bigger, more theatrical and harder to place on a narrow road — glorious, but not the one to learn on.

The practical realities: front lift is your friend and you should use it every single time you approach a ramp or a hump. Luggage is roughly one cabin bag in the front boot. Park covered and guarded, always. And expect to be photographed by strangers constantly, which some people enjoy and others find genuinely tiring — worth knowing which you are before a three-day hire.

Common questions about renting a Lamborghini

Do I need experience to rent a Lamborghini?

You need to be twenty-five, to have held a full licence for at least two years, and to have a conversation with us about what you have driven. If you have never driven anything quick, we will suggest starting on a 718 or a Supra and coming back. Most people who do that come back.

Can I take it up to Genting?

Yes, and it is a wonderful drive early on a Sunday. Mind the surface changes and the drainage channels on the older sections, and use the front lift on every hump. Do not attempt the tighter hairpins in a hurry — the car is wide and the road was not built for it.

How much is the deposit on a Lamborghini?

The deposit follows the car's category, not the badge. Most cars are RM1,000, sports and performance models RM1,500, and supercars RM2,500. The exact figure is on each car's page. It is refunded in full once the car is back without damage or outstanding summonses.
