The GT-R R35 is a heavy, technical, all-wheel-drive machine that flatters the driver at exactly the point where a rear-drive car would be making them nervous. The way it accumulates speed still does not feel entirely normal, and it remains one of the few cars where the engineering, not the badge, is the story. It has been in production long enough to be a bargain elsewhere in the world, which does nothing to make it less impressive here.
It is not a delicate car and does not want to be driven delicately. It also does not want to be driven badly — the all-wheel-drive system covers for a lot, right up until it does not. Treat the traction as a safety margin, not a licence, and it is one of the most confidence-inspiring things you can hire in wet weather.
Compared with the European alternatives at similar money, the GT-R is faster in a straight line than nearly all of them and less comfortable than all of them. That is the trade. If you are booking for the drive, it is superb. If you are booking for a long weekend that includes a lot of city traffic, look at a Supra or a Cayman instead.

How much is the deposit on a Nissan?
The deposit follows the car's category, not the badge. Most cars are RM1,000, sports and performance models RM1,500, and supercars RM2,500. The exact figure is on each car's page. It is refunded in full once the car is back without damage or outstanding summonses.
Can you deliver a Nissan to me in the Klang Valley?
Yes, and it is free on hires of two days or more. Single-day hires carry a delivery fee based on distance from our garage in SS15, Subang Jaya. You can also collect from the garage at no charge, which is worth doing for a first booking.
